site.btaParliament to Debate No-Confidence Motion on June 26, Vote on June 29
Sofia, June 21 (BTA) - The National Assembly will hold an extraordinary sitting at 1 pm on June 26 to hold a debate on the motion of no confidence in Boyko Borissov's government over its security policy, the MPs decided on Thursday. The motion will be put to the vote at 9 am on June 29.
The motion was tabled by 80 MPs of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) for Bulgaria on Wednesday.
Under the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, a no-confidence motion is debated not earlier than three days and not later than seven days after it has been filed. The motion has to be put to the vote not earlier than 24 hours after the end of the debate.
