Bulgaria’s Consulate General in Toronto has set up a crisis task force to monitor the situation after a plane crashed at Pearson Airport in Toronto.
A plane of an American air carrier, coming from Minneapolis, MN, crashed at Pearson Airport in Toronto on February 17.
Fifteen people were injured, including one child. Two people are in critical condition, Canadian authorities said, quoted by Canadian broadcaster CBC. According to news reports, the Delta Airlines plane overturned on landing.
So far there is no official information about injured Bulgarians at the Bulgarian Consulate General in Toronto.
The team of the consular office has set up a crisis task force in connection with the accident and is monitoring the situation.
