site.btaGovernment Approves Expenses for Support to Bulgarian Communities Abroad

At a sitting here on Tuesday, the Council of Ministers approved additional outlays in the amount of up to BGN 112,000 to the budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for 2024. The money will go the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad and is intended for maintaining sustainable relations with Bulgarians abroad, supporting their structures, awareness, interaction for effective and coordinated work with the Bulgarian communities abroad.

The additional funding is called for by the expanded volume of activities in support of the Bulgarian communities abroad, with the aim of preserving and distributing native culture, language, traditions and self-awareness among Bulgarians around the world.
