The US Embassy in Bulgaria and the Embassy of Bulgaria in the US sent a joint video greeting for the new year 2024, the US Embassy said.

Ambassadors Kenneth Merten and Georgi Panayotov said that the two countries are developing their cooperation in a number of areas such as security, energy, trade, culture, technology and innovation in order to improve the lives of their citizens.

Ambassador Panayotov said that as the two countries prepare to to enter the year 2024, they  are also preparing to open a new page in bilateral relations. Ambassador Merten added that this will be a start to the next 120 years of friendship between the two countries.
