Students from the Bulgarian Education Centre in Nantucket, Massachusetts, set up a lemonade stand in support of the educational institution, said the educational centre on its Facebook page.

"Our students took great pleasure in setting up lemonade stand, and the collected money will be donated to the Bulgarian school! Come enjoy a cold lemonade on a warm day," the post read.

Bulgarian language and literature, history and geography are taught at the Bulgarian Education Centre in Nantucket. There is also an opportunity to study Bulgarian as a foreign language, notes the website of the educational centre. It also states that the school has groups for children from two to seven years of age, as well as classes for students from first to eighth grade.

“We are proud of the fact that we can provide an opportunity for our children to learn a second language in Nantucket. Our professional team strives to build a suitable environment for students, to develop the ability to quickly and efficiently switch between two different language systems", the educational institution states on its website.

By learning and improving the Bulgarian language, the Bulgarian Education Centre aims to prepare children to adapt to different situations, perform on stage, solve mathematical and word problems, develop strong thinking skills using logic, focus and memorize, grow active and even learn other languages. Also, its programs support building and maintaining strong ties with the family, Bulgarian culture and society, the educational centre adds.
