Suvorovo (September 14, 2023) The research of the Chalcolithic settlement in the Koria area near Suvorovo, Varna Region, continues for the 13th consecutive year. A hoe was discovered here for the first time. The tool is made from a red deer’s antler, drilled to attach a handle and pointed for easier digging. Also found on site were weapons, most notably stone sling pellets, which were used for hunting as well as fighting, and pottery.
