The production of solid fuels increased by 17.7% in September 2024, compared to August 2024, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said here on Friday.

The production of propane-butane mixtures declined by 30.8%, motor gasoline by 13.3%, electricity by 6%, and diesel fuel by 5.8%, while natural gas production remained unchanged.

In y-o-y terms (September 2024 vs. September 2023), the production of propane-butane mixtures rose by 12.5%, solid fuels by 3.5%, diesel fuel by 0.8%, and electricity by 0.7%. Motor gasoline production, however, dropped by 17.3%, while natural gas production remained steady.

Month-on-month (September 2024 vs. August 2024), deliveries of solid fuels increased by 15.5%, natural gas by 3.3%, and propane-butane mixtures by 2.8%. Conversely, deliveries of diesel fuel fell by 33.3%, motor gasoline by 27.1%, and electricity by 10.9%.

In y-o-y comparisons of deliveries (September 2024 vs. September 2023), natural gas deliveries rose by 6.1%, solid fuels by 2.2%, and electricity by 1.9%. Meanwhile, deliveries of propane-butane mixtures dropped by 15.9%, diesel fuel by 13.8%, and motor gasoline by 1.9%.
