site.btaExpenditures on Fixed Tangible Assets Exceed BGN 33.5 Bln in 2023

Expenditures for the acquisition of fixed tangible assets (FTA) in all sectors of the economy in 2023 were over BGN 33.5 billion, marking a 21.7% growth compared to the previous year, the National Statistical Institute said on Friday.

The largest volume of FTA was invested in the industry sector (excluding construction) - almost BGN 9.1 billion, followed by the services sector (trade; repair of cars and motorcycles; transport, storage and post; hotels and restaurants) with investments of almost BGN 7.8 billion.

In construction, the costs of fixed tangible assets were over BGN 2.4 billion, in real estate operations these costs exceeded BGN 3.3 billion. In public administration, education, human health and social work the expenditures amounted to over BGN 4.4 billion.
