The requirements of the Schengen area regarding the security of Europe are even more important for the security of Bulgaria, said caretaker Minister of Tourism Evtim Miloshev on Saturday. He was part of a delegation led by President Rumen Radev on an official visit to Singapore.

Miloshev called for awaiting the final decision on Bulgaria's complete entry into the Schengen area. The opening of the borders between Bulgaria and Greece and Bulgaria and Romania, as well as the rest of Europe, in terms of tourism is a very positive sign, he noted.

Miloshev noted that workers from third countries need to be considered, because Bulgaria, like the whole of Europe, is in need of labour, especially in the tourism sector. "I am not saying that control will be strengthened in an administrative context, I am saying that investors and employers in the tourism sector must start working from now on to prepare for the summer season," he added.

After the end of this year's summer tourist season, there were many complaints about workers who chose other markets in Europe. The tourism sector should consider better working conditions for its workers, better working conditions, better living conditions, better pay and better treatment, the caretaker Minister stressed.

Evtim Miloshev also noted that the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast should not to be underestimated.

The final decision on Bulgaria's entry into Schengen by land will be taken on December 12, caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev said on Friday.
