The government has allocated over BGN 42.5 million for compensation in the education sector, the Government's press service said here on Wednesday.
The caretaker government has earmarked BGN 42,751,091 to support the 2024 National Programme for Optimizing the Internal Structure of Personnel. These funds are intended to cover compensation payments for the period between July and August 2024, aimed at staff reductions in educational institutions, structural adjustments, or other reasons for employment termination.
The funding will come from the central budget's allocation for national education development programmes for 2024.
