Congratulations to the will, perseverance and high sports spirit of Ruzhdi Ruzhdi who won the gold medal in the shot put (category F55) at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, President Rumen Radev wrote on Facebook.
"This great victory is a cause for well-deserved pride and unites all of Bulgaria," the Head of State further wrote.
The Bulgarian earned a second gold medal in his career, following the title in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. He won a silver in Tokyo in 2021.
