Representatives of various organisations - Coalition "Out of the EU and NATO", “MIR" and "Brod" - protest in front of Parliament demanding that the second mandate for forming a government be returned unfulfilled. The event was announced on social media as a "protest for sovereignty and legality in Bulgaria".

"We are protesting against the wedding between Continue the Change, the so-called Parapet coalition, and GERB," Tihomir Vassilev, a civic activist participating in the protest, told BTA. "This mandate is flawed and it is illegitimate… There is no way that heads of services can be approved – while everyone says “coordinated”, [CC co-leader] Assen Vassilev says “approved” - by foreign embassies, Tihomir Vassilev also said.

On May 29, President Rumen Radev handed the second exploratory mandate to form a government to the prime minister-designate of Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria, Acad. Nikolay Denkov.
