site.btaBulgarian Embassy in North Macedonia Participates in Christmas Charity Diplomatic Bazaar in Skopje

The Bulgarian Embassy in North Macedonia will once again this year participate with its stand in the Diplomatic Charity Bazaar, which is taking place on Saturday in Skopje on the occasion of the World Children's Day and under the honorary chairmanship of the Ambassador of Slovenia to North Macedonia Gregor Presker.

Traditional food, drink and item productions, performances by children from local and international schools and cultural centres, and a raffle await the bazaar guests and the funds raised will support two regional schools.

In addition to the Bulgarian Embassy, the Embassies of Austria, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Lithuania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, the Delegation of the European Union to North Macedonia and the Confucius Institute at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje will also participate in the charity bazaar with their stands.

A total of MKD 500,000 (EUR 8,127) was raised at the Christmas Charity Diplomatic Bazaar in 2023, with most of the funds coming from the stand organized by the Bulgarian Embassy in North Macedonia. The funds were distributed to three organizations of people with special needs.
