14th Edition of Piano Extravaganza Offers Piano Recital, Chamber and Jazz Music, Exhibition

The 14th Piano Extravaganza Festival features a lineup that includes a piano recital, a jazz concert, two chamber music concerts and an art exhibition. The festival kicks off on October 19 in Sofia and continues until November 13.

Events are set to take place in Sofia at Chamber Hall Bulgaria, Sofia Live Club, and Sofia City Art Gallery.

Sofia City Art Gallery starts with a recital by Albert Mamriev, featuring works by Wagner and Liszt. Teodor Pazov follows on 23 October with pieces by Schubert, Prokofiev, and Chopin. The Chamber Hall Bulgaria will host Simeon Goshev on 29 October, performing works by Stoyanov, Szymanowski, Mozart, and Liszt.

Jazz enthusiasts can look forward to Iván Melón Lewis's concert on 31 October at Sofia Live Club. Chamber music returns to the Sofia City Art Gallery on 2 November with Italy’s Piano Quintet Sangiorgi, offering pieces by Schumann and Dvořák.

The festival concludes on 13 November with the Sofia Soloists chamber ensemble, conducted by Konstantin Dobroykov, featuring pianists Paolo Francese and Ameli Sakai-Ivanova, performing Mozart and Britten. Events take place across Chamber Hall Bulgaria, Sofia Live Club, and the Sofia City Art Gallery.
