For two years there has been practically no parliament, said Wednesday BSP for Bulgaria floor leader Borislav Gutsanov in a declaration on behalf of his parliamentary group on the occasion of the beginning of the new plenary session of the 50th National Assembly.
"Once again, we find ourselves in an unconventional and, I would say, absurd political situation, one that contains a series of crises, constant elections, party dramas, a definite public distrust, a public distrust of all of us who are in this Chamber. If we have to analyze what is happening, we are on the verge of the disintegration of the statehood and the party system," he added.
"We need a restart of the whole system in Bulgaria. No more assemblies, retail games, pathetic agreements of the first with the second, with the third and how to survive for a few months," Gutsanov argued. "Today, we from BSP for Bulgaria say to you - enough! (...) BSP will be the guarantor of the Bulgarian constitution, the guarantor of the protection of national, Bulgarian interests," he said.
Dialogue is the key word for building a new modern Bulgaria and the BSP will make every effort to make this happen, the BSP for Bulgaria floor leader said.
