Burgas Airport expects its busiest days for 2024 in August, the airport told BTA on Monday.

So far, the day with the largest passenger traffic was July 26, when the airport handled more than 25,000 passengers. "Judging by previous experience, there are usually several days in a row in August with a similar or larger number of passengers", the airport said. 

Burgas Airport expects to welcome its millionth passenger for 2024 on August 7, which will be later than in 2023, when the millionth passenger arrived on August 2. In 2023, Burgas Airport handled 1.8 million passengers, 13% more than in 2022.
