site.btaHarpist Suzanna Klintcharova to Donate All Her Recordings to US Library of Congress

Bulgarian harpist Suzanna Klintcharova will donate a full collection of her recordings to the Library of Congress in the United States. She will be the first Bulgarian musician to make such a donation, the Bulgarian Embassy in Washington says on its Facebook page.

The professor's superb musical performances will thus become accessible to all people around the world, the Embassy said.

The news comes after Klintcharova and Bulgarian Ambassador to the US Georgi Panayotov visited the National Audio-Visual Conservation Center at the Library of Congress. The center's mission is to conserve the audio-visual heritage of the world. It has developed unique technologies, hardware and software to access sound and image from any medium even if it is severely damaged or has not been made and used for more than a century.
